Picked from family owned vineyards at the foot of the Cocoparra Hills in Yenda NSW. Petit Verdot was selected for the vineyard by the internationally recognised vitaculturist Dr. Richard Smart as being the most suitable to the Mallee soil, the high quality irrigation water and abundant sunlight. These natural conditions coupled with sensitive viticulture, allow control and consistancy of the crop. The result is a full bodied, complex wine with intense flavour, notes of leather and black cherry with a herbal finish.
